Scarify to dethatch surplus organic matter from your lawn, top dress and over sow. This can be done now or in September (Spring)

A busy period. Treat for grass grub and other insects with lawn guard prills. Renovate your lawn now as the cool weather slows down growth.

April

Apply a quality fertiliser (such as Readylawns Premium slow release) at 20 grams per m2.

 

Treat for grass grub and porina to protect the lawn from winter damage.

 

By fertilising with a quality fertiliser before winter you will keep your lawn strong and health during the cold months. This will also help deter disease and pests.

Test irrigation. Leaky or poorly adjusted irrigation is inefficient and wastes water.

Scarify to dethatch surplus organic matter from your lawn, top dress and over sow.

Make sure when over sowing you are using the same seed mix to avoid uneven textures and colours.
